DESCRIPTION
W-ψ190 is modeled as a toy ray gun. It has a molded plastic body with a rounded forward emitter, a broad finned barrel housing, an oversized grip, and a prominent circular dial mounted near the rear of the body. The exterior is smooth and playful in silhouette rather than military, giving the device the appearance of a retro children's science-fiction toy rather than a conventional firearm.
The weapon measures approximately 29 cm in length and 18 cm in height. A rotating selector dial on the side of the body determines the emotional state delivered by each shot. Known dial settings include anger, joy, and fear; however, additional emotional settings may be accessible through continued testing.

When W-ψ190 is fired at a living target, the struck subject immediately begins to experience the emotion currently selected on the device's dial. The induced response is genuine rather than merely suggestive: affected individuals report feeling the imposed emotion as though it originated internally.
Successive shots on the same setting amplify the chosen emotional state. Two shots set to anger produce a more severe angry response than one, and additional hits continue to escalate the intensity. The same general stacking effect has been observed with other tested emotions.
No conventional projectile has been recovered. The discharge resembles a directed anomalous emission. No significant physical injury from impact alone has been documented, and no consistent anomalous response has been observed when the device is fired at ordinary inanimate objects.

A cooperative test subject was struck twice with W-ψ190 while the dial was set to anger. Within seconds the subject displayed visible irritation, raised vocal intensity, aggressive posture, and a strong desire to argue with nearby personnel.

Same emotion intensifies with repeat exposure
After receiving two additional anger-setting shots, the same subject's emotional state escalated substantially. Reported anger became more difficult to regulate, and the subject required intervention before the trial was terminated.

Operational Restrictions
W-ψ190 is to remain unloaded and locked in secured storage when not in active testing. Dial position is to be recorded before and after all authorized use.
Testing requires behavioral-observation staff and restraint contingencies appropriate to the selected emotion. Use on distressed personnel, armed personnel, or any subject in a sensitive operational environment requires prior authorization. Because repeated shots intensify the chosen emotional state, cumulative exposure is to be treated as a significant escalation factor.
